Finance Director - Hook, Hampshire (Hybrid) - £100,000 - £140,000 + benefits
FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a market leading Manufacturing company based in Hook Hampshire, to assist with their recruitment of a Finance Director. The successful candidate will provide leadership and development of the Finance and Administration team to ensure effective and compliant delivery across the company's Financial Accounting, Management Accounting & Reporting, Planning, Budgeting, Internal Controls and Tax & Treasury.
The Finance Director will focus on developing the EMEA finance team's financial, planning and analysis capabilities, meeting the requirements of both internal and external stakeholders and setting a high benchmark on providing key financial deliverables.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Oversee the delivery of corporate services, including accounting, finance, and administration functions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
2. Take responsibility for the preparation and reporting of company accounts and all statutory returns including company registration, shareholder matters, taxation.
3. Overall responsibility for accurate and reliable annual consolidated financial statements and accurate and timely monthly financial reports.
4. Plan and direct the firm's strategic long-term financial goals while evaluating existing plans.
5. Ability to re-negotiate finance facilities with banking partners and build long-term strategic partnerships.
6. Provide proactive finance-related vision and leadership across EMEA through the development and implementation of business plans, with input from the ELT and in line with global corporate objectives.
7. Share knowledge, engage team members, and manage behaviours and relationships to ensure that the corporate services team is cohesive and collaborative.
8. Drive and model a lean-based high-performance culture.
9. Liaise with other business units to ensure corporate services processes are aligned with all business priorities and processes.
10. Develop and appropriately use negotiation skills to engage and influence stakeholders across the business.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as an FD, Senior Finance Manager, or equivalent role; demonstrating skills in financial and accounting management including business planning and strategy, managing profitability, project management, formulating and monitoring budgets and financial reporting.
2. Qualified ACA / ACCA.
3. SAP experience would be highly advantageous.
4. Ability to lead business transformation; determining best organisational structure, systems and processes for delivery and implementing these changes.
5. Excellent track record of building, maintaining, and leveraging strategic business relationships, with a communication style that engenders confidence and collaboration.
6. Demonstrated ability to successfully lead, drive and develop a high-performance culture with a team or teams.
