Job Summary The Intermediate Application Engineer plays a pivotal role in supporting the design, integration, and evaluation of new technologies and systems for Delta IBT products. This position emphasizes hands-on development, testing, and troubleshooting tasks within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. It also involves contributing to the creation of applications to validate and showcase Delta IBT products in diverse use cases and markets. Work Location : In Office (Currently 3 days a week, subject to change) City : Surrey Type : Full-time, Permanent Salary : $75,000 - $84,000 This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors. Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the design and implementation of application solutions under the guidance of senior team members. Contribute to the evaluation of third-party systems and their compatibility with Delta IBT products. Support the creation of application demos and use-case solutions to highlight product capabilities. Conduct beta testing, including on-site installations and system troubleshooting. Write and maintain technical documentation, such as user guides, manuals, and system descriptions. Provide technical assistance to team members and support overall project success. Perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical challenges. Participate in cross-brand product solution initiatives and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure system compatibility. Conduct research on innovative technologies to improve product offerings. May perform other related duties as assigned. Preferred skills and abilities Working knowledge of building controls and control theory Background using Delta IBT systems and tools, including Node-RED, Python, and GCL Familiarity with IoT concepts, API usage, Java Script and ability to adapt to future languages and platforms. Knowledge of sustainable energy standards and building practices (eg. LEED, WELL, Guideline36). Key attibutes and experience Minimum 3�5 years of experience in a related field. Degree or diploma in Integrated Engineering, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
