HGV Class 1 Drivers – Warrington
The Recruitment Crowd (TRC) is currently recruiting Class 1 Drivers to join our team in Warrington (WA5).
Hours:
Choose from morning, afternoon, or night shifts, available Monday to Sunday with various start times. Average shift length: 12 hours.
📌 Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience required.
💰 Pay Rates (Rolled-up Holiday Pay Included):
Monday to Thursday:
* AM: £16.81
* PM: £17.37
* Night: £18.16
Friday:
* AM: £17.37
* PM: £17.93
* Night: £19.05
Saturday:
* AM: £17.93
* PM: £18.49
* Night: £19.61
Sunday:
* AM: £18.22
* PM: £19.05
* Night: £19.95
🚛 The Role:
* Trunking between depots, ensuring safe and timely parcel deliveries.
* Yard manoeuvring and reversing with precision.
* Conducting vehicle inspections before and after each shift.
* Following all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
* Coordinating with logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
✅ Requirements:
* Full UK Class 1 licence (Category C+E).
* Valid DCPC & Digital Tachograph card.
* Max 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
* Must pass an assessment, including:
* Theory test on drivers' hours & road laws.
* Practical test on yard reversing & short driving assessment.
* Understanding of WTD legislation.
* Strong communication skills.
* Safety-first mindset.
