We are excited to be retained to exclusively manage the search for a CEO/MD for a multi site holiday park company. This is a very hands on leadership role with a highly attractive package including equity, however will require a full time base in Northern Ireland.
The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience in the operational and strategic leadership of multi site holiday parks. This is a hands on role, leading a management team to ensure the day to day operations of the company are smooth and the guest experience is second to none, as well as develop and implement revenue growth strategies including organic and via acquisition, identifying opportunities for the business that meet the needs of the customers, the stakeholders, and the employees. You will be responsible for making key decisions and executing the culture of the company.
Working closely with the Chairman, you will have overall responsibility to build and deliver the
business plan focusing on growth of the business over the next 5 years with the overall aim of
growing shareholder value through enhanced customer and team experience, operational efficiencies and acquisitions. The role will require the successful individual to be located full time near the parks.
Key deliveries will include:
* Customer security and satisfaction
* Revenue / EBITDA and asset value maximisation
* Set revenue targets
* Cost management, operational efficiency
* Recruitment
* Team leadership
* Setting of KPI’s / delivery targets
* Utility and service provider costs – e.g., bulk purchase agreements
* Interaction with supply chain partners
* Site specific reviews and business plans – asset management / value enhancement programmes
* Holiday home sales optimisation and value maximisation
* Explore adjacent land acquisition opportunities on existing sites.
* Target appropriate additional individual site acquisition – generate pipeline.
* Reporting & Accounting efficiency – review of systems, process and procedures.
* Marketing - Corporate brand development and marketing
* Site promotion
* Accommodation / unit marketing and branding
* Make recommendations and deploy capital investment programmes
Key Skills & Experience:
* A proven and experienced senior level professional with experience in the holiday park sector
* Grown an operationally intensive customer focused business through organic growth and acquisitions
* Commercially sophisticated; vision to recognise opportunity in the sector, prioritise options, put in place, and deliver a robust business plan.
* Proven marketeer: strong service ethos and built brands through reliable customer experience and product promotion.
* Highly presentable, articulate, tenacious and persuasive; an excellent driven team leader with ability to deliver on the business's growth targets and broader ambitions.
* Strong and credible leadership and management
* The ability to set strategies, plan, coordinate, implement and interact with multiple third parties
* Proven financial management and budgetary control skills; the individual should be analytical and highly numerate with a good understanding of investment appraisal and investment analysis and funding.

* A team player with strong consultative and negotiating skills and can take others with them
