The Role We are l ooking to add a colleague to the team to help develop and deliver its investment research. Below is a guide to what we are looking for, although the exact nature of the role will be somewhat dependent on the chosen individual. Research / content development Play a significant role in delivering investment research as part of TAI's research agenda Support agreed Institute research projects and working groups Contribute to new thinking / research and produce materials to communicate it effectively Contribute to the evolution of the forward research agenda Relationship management As a member of the team you will naturally play a part in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders Help to involve TAI members and other key stakeholders in research projects, using their influence to help achieve the overall goal Communications Contribute towards the presentation of research to members in various settings (webinars, roundtables, 1-2-1s, virtual events) Help manage the communication pipeline of TAI research, projects and events through monthly newsletters, website, social media and podcast updates Pro-actively find new and visually arresting ways of presenting TAI content externally, working with the wider team, external designers and using in-house design tools (eg Canva) and AI platforms (eg Writer, Co-pilot and ChatGPT, Descript) General operations Provide general support to ensure effective operating of the Institute by being pro-active in helping colleagues as and when needed Qualifications The Requirement A self-starter with initiative and a can-do attitude, able to work autonomously with guided supervision; results oriented Experience conducting global research in an investment environment Strong academic background. Diversity of thinking is one of TAG’s strengths. Consequently applicants do not need to have a financial degree.
