The service supports the earlyintervention emotional support needs of children and young people across NottsCity and County (excluding Bassetlaw).
As a key support to daily operations,you will support the Head of Service in coordinating a team of mental healthpractitioners to deliver therapeutic interventions to clients, providingtimely, integrated, high quality and accessible multi-disciplinary support thatis accessible and flexible based on individual need.

This is a demandingjob, but you will not be on your own. ABLs highly experienced and professionalmulti-disciplinary team of Health and Social Care professionals, BusinessIntelligence, Service Development, Governance, Finance and Business Developmentspecialists are there to support. Additionally, existing experienced deliveryteams will be available to support you to drive the service forward.

Job responsibilities
You will manage thedaily operations of the Emotional Wellbeing Early Support Service for Childrenand Young People.
Supporting anddirecting staff (paid and voluntary) to ensure the process of transition byyoung people to or from other services is undertaken in an appropriate andtimely way.
Use data andmanagement systems to present monthly service contract appraisals to internalmanagement structure and support regular contract review meetings withcommissioners.
Support routineinternal governance audits and respond to any identified actions / improvements.
To providemanagerial supervision, oversight of work schedules and allocation of resourcesto the team.
Ensure team istrained and fit for purpose.
To manage theprojects devolved budget.
To assist inrecruitment in adherence to the keeping children safe in education framework.
Liaise with key stakeholders including commissioners and system partnersto collaborate, maintain positive, cohesive relationships and avoid systemduplication.
To lead, promoteand a deliver an innovative service, ensuring equitable provision acrossNottinghamshire and Nottingham City, deputising in the absence of the Head ofservice.
To be pro-active inensuring own continuous professional development to gain the skills required todeliver a fit for purpose early intervention emotional wellbeing provision
Take on linemanagement responsibilities for the practice team.
To offer creative input and participation in promoting our servicesacross social media platforms.
Support the servicein system integration, attending key meetings to facilitate cohesiverelationships with system partners.
Develop and evolvethe service, co-produced with service users to continuously meet the changingneeds of local people, communities, stakeholders and commissioners.
Develop andmaintain internal standard operating procedures, and to establish and updatereferral routes into and out of the service.
To ensure thesafeguarding of young people and children is paramount for all staff and thatthey act accordingly within ABL Policy and Procedures.
To ensure that riskassessments, risk registers and cases are prioritised following safeguardingprotocols.
To ensure that allstaff provide services which are appropriate and professional to ensure thehealth and wellbeing of young people accessing services.
Ensure themaintenance, at all levels, of confidentiality in relation to agreedorganisational policy.
Deliver anoutcomes-based service delivery model, achieving and exceeding KPIs, ensuringeffective allocation of resources and being responsive to service user,partner, and commissioner feedback.
To ensure allmonitoring and records are kept up to date, secure and used appropriately
Ensure high-qualitycontract performance across all of its key elements, along with effectivereporting and budget management.
To provideinformation, qualitative and quantitative data and reporting in a timely manner
To attendmanagement meetings, team meetings, performance review boards, and externalsteering groups for children and young people services.
To attend andmanage regular supervisory sessions with all staff and volunteers you haveresponsibility for.
To provide trainingto internal staff, volunteers, placements and external agencies as required.
To provideleadership and support to a team including counsellors and being a key memberof day-to-day operations, supporting the delivery of KPIs.

Qualifications
* At least 3 years in mental Health related field.

* The ability to travel independently across Nottingham / Nottinghamshire and as required to ABL Health HQ in Greater Manchester/any other ABL -delivery locations.

Experience
* Proven experience in team leadership, maintenance of effective professional boundaries and service adherence to organizational policy and procedure, including the use of management data tools to enhance service quality and performance.

* Experience of supporting day to day operational demands in a performance focused environment, supporting Head of Service to lead and direct a senior, delivery and admin team
* Experience of triaging safety needs and safeguarding procedures.
* Understanding of counselling practice within the Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
* Experience of building therapeutic relationships with young people who have complex needs.
* Experience of crisis intervention work.
* Experience in making professional assessments of young people and their mental health.
* Experience of supervising MDTs.
* Experience in managing risk in a mental health context.
