Role overview Working in close collaboration with the EMCOR UK’s site services team and the customer, you will be responsible for identifying new energy and carbon reduction initiatives across the customer’s estate, assessing the magnitude of the savings, developing the initiatives to the point at which that can be handed over to the projects team and verifying the results once implemented. The customer has very ambitious carbon reduction target milestones on their glidepath to Net-Zero and you will be instrumental in facilitating their achievement. Duties: Perform on-site energy efficiency audits that are focused on HVAC / Utility systems, associated control systems and lighting energy efficiency opportunities Analyse potential energy and carbon reduction opportunities, create proposals and present findings to client Work with site operation team to optimise system energy performance i.e. via BMS optimisation Recommend appropriate system operations based on current client needs and building usage Research emerging technologies and standards for implementation into company practice and project implementation Support client Net-Zero ambitions Hosting of contractors and consultants during site visits Co-ordinate and inspect on-site work and installations performed by suppliers, consultants and contractors Work with project site staff, client staff and maintenance teams to ensure accurate operation within design parameters Work with Energy Data Analyst to review consumption before, during and after implementation phases Person Specification Who we are looking for: Experience in similar role or field. (Desirable) Experience in facilities/utilities operation and maintenance. Required system experience: HVAC, Steam Generation systems, Chilled Water generation, Compressed Air systems, and associated distribution systems Experience in Refrigeration and Heat Pump systems Building Services Degree qualified or working towards (Desirable) Knowledge of BMS systems is essential Project management skills (change control, budgets, planning and tracking) Energy management – CEM qualified or equivalent desirable Benefits Not Specified
