We are seeking a committed, flexible benefits management practitioner who can work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality Benefits Management oversight and reporting to support delivery of the National Care Service (NCS). This is an exciting and fast paced programme at the early stages of delivery and will require expertise and management in the setting up and running of all benefits management documentation and realisation products to ensure successful delivery of programme and project outcomes. You will have experience of working within programmes and projects and will understand the requirements of programme/project governance and assurance in line with HMT Green Book principles. Ideally, they will have experience of working within multiple delivery frameworks and will understand the requirement to tailor their work to ensure best practice. The Programme Benefits Realisation Lead will work to the Business Case and Benefits Manager and have responsibility for leading the implementation and delivery of a range of high quality Benefits Management Governance across the Programmes. Working with a range of senior stakeholders to ensure there is robust and proportionate benefits and value capture across the programme. You will work closely with the Business Case and Benefits Manager to help deliver a Benefits Management framework for the NCS programme. You will have experience of working across multiple projects and areas simultaneously and will be comfortable constructively challenging. Responsibilities Support the development and establishment of the Benefits Management Framework for the NCS programme. Work with delivery areas to create and capture benefit realisation plans. Provide a service to stakeholders to identify and capture baseline data to support benefit delivery. Support the establishment and creation of benefit reporting within the programme. Consult with wider DG to establish best practice in benefits management reporting. Support the identification and ongoing updates of the Benefits within the Programme Business Case. Work closely with PMO colleagues to support delivery reporting. Build strong relationships across the Directorate and beyond to ensure understanding and compliance with benefits management reporting requirements. Support the ongoing monitoring and tracking of captured benefits. Responsibilities Qualifications Benefits Managers should have or be closely working towards a professional level qualification or relevant training, such as APMG’s Managing Benefits or APM’s PMQ, PMI’s PMP and Axelos’ Prince 2 qualifications. Success Profile Technical / Professional Skills: Benefits Management - Practitioner Stakeholder engagement - Practitioner Experience: • Be able to demonstrate extensive experience of defining, managing and delivering the realisation of programme or project (or workstream) benefits within a PPA environment.
