We are looking for a Netball Coach to assist with our provision of Netball over our sites at the Stamford Schools. This is an excellent opportunity for a Netball professional that wants to work within an education environment and expand their working career.
We are seeking a dedicated Netball Coach with the vision, skill and experience to continue supporting the growth and development of the program and delivery of netball. Over the last six years there has been significant growth in participation and performance with teams regularly reaching the Regional and National finals. We are proud of our extensive links with local clubs, England Netball and the performance pathways with our local Super League club Loughborough Lightning.
Position: Netball Coach
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead co-curricular and curricular ‘GAMES & Sports’ sessions as appropriate including all Saturday’s in term time.
* To work with DON in the construction and implementation of the SES Netball Development Plan.
* Support DON in professional development of netball staffand teachers through reflective practice.
* Deliver other netball appropriate content as required by the DON in supporting the SES netball program.
* To support the marketing and recruitment of netball players to the SES schools.
* Under the direction of the SES Director of Netball lead appropriate analysis sessions with students.
* Liaise with the DON in monitoring and mentoring elite players, liaising with counties and academies where appropriate.
* Support the schools in the delivery of preseason and tours where appropriate.
Requirements:
* Level 1 Netball coaching & umpiring qualification.
* Experience of coaching and playing netball at schools/club/county level or similar.
* High level communication skills.
* Excellent time management.
* Ability to motivate young people.
* Sets and maintains high standards in all aspects of the role and personal presentation.
* Inspires others to have confidence through sharing personal knowledge and experience.

This is a 0-hour position with an hourly wage of £22.89.
