A vacancy has arisen for a People Coordinator at PD Ports within the People Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised, detail-orientated and proactive individual to join the team on a fixed term basis. No previous HR experience is necessary, just a positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to build relationships with employees and managers within your business unit. This would be ideal for someone looking to begin a career in Human Resources and will give a solid foundation of knowledge and experience of all processes in the employee lifecycle.
The five main things our People Coordinator will be working on are:
1. Supporting the onboarding of new employees by drafting offers of employment and contracts as well as coordinating pre-employment checks.
2. Assisting with recruitment processes including drafting job adverts and arranging interviews.
3. Maintaining and updating employee records on our systems.
4. Responding to general people-related queries for your business unit.
5. Creating reports and management information.
We are seeking someone who:

Important Info:
Salary: Up to £27,264 dependent upon skills and experience.
Location: Middlesbrough – based between Head Office and Tees Dock, with the option of 1-2 days home working per week.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week (may consider part time/flexible hours).
