Learning Support Assistant - Thanet
Full-time - Monday to Friday
£83.33 per day

As a Teaching Assistant at this exceptional special needs school, you'll have the opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment dedicated to providing high-quality education and care to children and young people aged 2-19 with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting students with profound, severe, and complex learning difficulties, including ASD, in their daily activities and learning.
2. Assisting with personal care tasks as needed, ensuring the comfort and well-being of students.
3. Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to implement individualised education plans (EHCPs) and behaviour management strategies.
4. Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential.

Requirements:
1. Have the right to work in the UK.
2. Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) preferred.
3. Ability to provide personal care assistance, including toileting and feeding.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Positive attitude, flexibility, and resilience.
6. Willingness to undergo relevant background checks and obtain necessary clearances.
7. Hold an enhanced child-only DBS on the update service or be willing to get a new one.
