Position Overview
This is a really exciting role to help Codat to crack the fintech market. As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a critical role in opening up opportunities at the top 100 fintechs in the UK & US. We are looking for someone with tenacity, creativity and drive!
What you'll be doing
Account Mapping & Strategy:
1. Account Identification: Conduct in-depth research to identify and map out target enterprise fintech accounts, including key decision-makers, influencers, and organizational structure.
2. Stakeholder Analysis: Understand the roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders within target accounts, and develop tailored engagement strategies.
3. Strategic Account Planning: Collaborate with the Enterprise Sales team to develop comprehensive account plans that outline the approach for penetrating and expanding within each target account.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with internal teams, including marketing, product, and sales, to gather insights and resources that support effective account mapping and engagement.
Prospect Identification & Outreach:
1. Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to engage decision-makers and stakeholders within these organizations.
2. Utilize a mix of channels including email, phone calls, LinkedIn, and events to initiate contact and book meetings.
Market Research:
1. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the fintech sector.
2. Provide feedback and insights to the product and marketing teams to help shape Codat’s go-to-market strategy.
Event Participation:
1. Represent Codat at industry events, conferences, and webinars to network with potential customers and gather leads.
2. Support the organization of Codat-led events aimed at engaging enterprise banking customers.

5. The interest (and appetite) to become an expert on Codat, conveying value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Experience, knowledge or interest in technology, SaaS or API-based businesses.

Salary: The band listed is inclusive of on-target earnings (OTE). The base salary for this role is £36,000-£52,000.
