This role is a Role Creation to reflect the growth of the business. Our client is looking for a talented and ambitious Sales Manager to join the team. They are offering an excellent, long-term opportunity for the right person, with a competitive salary and development prospects to work across the UK.
They are looking for applicants with proven Sales and Business Development experience within Modular Buildings or Off-Site Construction. Alternatively, they would consider candidates from the Facilities Management arena or those with a Construction or Services background, provided they understand the SME culture and environment.
The business is well established and strong within Local Authorities, the Education sector, the Leisure industry, the Health sector, and also works with the MOD. They are looking to focus on getting into Air Space, which is very Residential-focused, as well as Traveller and Welfare Sites, Transport Hubs, and Community Support Projects. Experience in these areas would be welcomed.
As a Sales Manager, you will oversee projects ranging between £75,000 and £10,000,000 and be responsible for coordinating different teams. You will be measured on financial figures and work won, along with increasing the higher-end contracts the business secures. Collaboration with clients begins at an early stage, as the work is specialized and niche.
The role offers excellent, diverse, and potentially rapid opportunities for Career Progression into more senior management positions in the company. You should be an ambitious and forward-thinking individual, serious about growing your career alongside the business.
You will possess a Proven Track Record of Sales Management in Modular Buildings, Off-Site Construction, Facilities Management, Construction, or a Services background, with experience in an SME Culture and environment.
The company requires applicants with strong personalities, good collaboration skills, and the ability to take on responsibility within the wider business. They need candidates with good people skills who are completers/closers.
The key selling points of the role include ample internal support and a unique opportunity to sell both Modular Buildings and Facilities Management services. There will be crossover with certain clients, opening doors to sell Modular Buildings to FM Clients or vice versa. There are strong and various routes for career progression for this individual, as well as the chance to play a key role in growing the business.
