Salary: £31,900 per annum
Location: Bridgend
Contract/Hours: Fixed Term Contract for 10 months, Part-time - 26 hours per week

About the role
Bridgend Families First supports families with children and young people as part of the Families First Programme. Our aim is to ensure families are confident, nurturing, resilient and safe by helping them to develop the skills to enable this.
As a Parenting Support Co-ordinator you'll be leading a team of four Parenting Practitioners in the Bridgend Families First service, focusing on improving parenting skills and increasing parental understanding of their child's development, learning and needs.
How you'll help to create brighter futures
* By providing regular supervision and performance reviews to staff.
* By being the designated safeguarding lead for their team.
* By being responsible for the development of the team.
* Managing referrals, triage and allocations to Parenting Team.
* Budget managing, reporting to local authority.
* Providing safeguarding support to the Parenting Team.
* Coordinating Parenting Programmes with staff, volunteers and partner agencies.
* Supporting service users in accessing the service.
* Promoting social experiences amongst the wider community.
* Enabling Families to upskill themselves and encourage active participation.
Let's talk about you
* Strong leadership experience within a similar environment.
* Experience of developing and managing stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
* Experience of working with vulnerable children and families.
* Good analytical and report writing skills for quarterly reporting.
* Experience of working with complex partnership arrangements.
* Considerable experience of frontline family support work with families.
* Ability to manage demanding workloads and change priorities quickly.
