DT Technicians play a vital role in the provision of high-quality teaching and learning in schools, from looking after specific equipment to helping staff to ensure that lessons are resourced effectively so that students can achieve their potential. The successful applicant will be responsible for (but not limited too): Ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with teachers to plan and prepare engaging lesson resources. Assist with setting up and maintaining equipment for DT lessons. Provide technical support to students and staff, troubleshooting issues and maintaining tools. Keep risk assessments updated and ensure proper equipment use. Contribute to college open events by preparing resources and showcasing the DT program. The key skills and qualities of a DT Technician are: Previous experience or abilities.
