Busydays is a CIO registered with the charity commision in 2014.
It runs as a day centre providing a fullfilling programme of day opportunities to enable all of the people we support to benefit from without extra expense. A daily fee is paid and all activities are included ensuring nobody is left out. Out of regular hours social clubs are provided fortnightly
We are seeking a passionate and caring professional to lead Busydays into its next chapter.To boost the day service and
lead a team of day centre manager and support staff .
You will oversee the charity and report back to trustees regularly and funding organisations too by writing reports.
You will support the day service manager,alongside contracted HR professionals for advice, carry out necessary HR tasks onsite as they arise.
Monthly administration tasks, accounting,bills,reordering and liaising with payroll accountants ensuring that all accounting meets deadlines of dates for payroll needs.
Constant fundraising is essential as is searching for new funding streams and writing effective bids to ensure a good flow of monies to support this worthwhile charity.
Liaising with county council,social work practitioners,funding organisations and local universities.Raising the profile of Busydays charity.Attending professional meetings representing Busydays.
Liaising with onsite buildings manager and caretaker to ensure the smooth running of Busydays.
Overseeing health and safety onsite and liaising with the contracted professionals following advice ,actioning and reporting back to them.
Staying aware of changes in legislation and ensuring policies are rewritten ,updated to reflect these changes. Ensuring all staff are updated and that their training requirements are constantly reviewed with the day service manager.
Meeting new people and helping day service manager with initial assessments to ensure we can meet their needs,Writing support plans and emergency evacuation plans.
Liaising with the the people we support and their families/carers assisting and signposting to other services and providing extra respite services within Busydays .Setting up a regular parent/family support group for Busydays.
