As an Internal Sales Executive you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a customer database within the trades and building products sector.
My client is looking to explore new markets and is looking for a driven individual to take the lead on this new project.
As an Internal Sales Executive you will be commercially minded, able to build excellent relationships with prospect customers and be able to identify a genuine business opportunity.
You will explore and research new markets before carrying out a successful sales campaign and managing a busy sales pipeline. You will be able to adopt a proactive approach and use your initiative and business acumen to successfully approach and secure new customers.
Full systems and product training will be provided so that you have the necessary tools and knowledge to approach this target market.
Commission is uncapped so there is genuine earning potential. Your hard work and successes will be rewarded.
Previous sales experience is essential to be considered for this opportunity (1-2 years). Previous experience of working in the building/trades/construction industry is an advantage.
The Role – Internal Sales Executive:
* Pro-actively seek new business by targeting a combination of existing, lapsed and prospective customers through inbound and outbound calls.
* Maximise sales opportunities with the customer base by continually expanding orders and up selling where possible.
* Conduct market research to target key customers and identify gaps in the market.
* Generate and follow up on customer quotations.
* Build excellent relationships with existing customer accounts and support with day to day enquiries.
* Work alongside the customer service team to meet customer expectations and identify new potential opportunities.
* Provide general customer support and technical advice when needed.
* General administration, updating the database, liaising with relevant internal teams.
The Individual – Internal Sales Executive:
* Proven sales experience, ideally in a product based environment.
* An understanding of the sales process.
* Understands how to research and identify prospective customers.
* Organised and structured day to day.
* A proactive team player who is able to work using their own initiative.
