Job summary We are seeking to appoint a full-time Consultant in Rheumatology and General Medicine. The appointee will work with consultant colleagues to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services for residents across East Sussex with a catchment area of approximately 544,000. This post is cross-site, based at EDGH with outreach clinics across community sites. We are looking for a Consultant to join the Department of Rheumatology in East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. The appointee will be an individual with enthusiasm, strong self-motivation, and the skills necessary to contribute to the development of our patient-centered Rheumatology service. Main duties of the job The post-holder will form part of a multi-disciplinary team approach to care within the speciality. The appointee will take an active role in the Rheumatology service, with full participation in cross-county clinical activities in our community clinics. The post will be based at the EDGH Hospital forming part of a multi-disciplinary team, working closely with colleagues cross site. This includes regular audit, governance and outcome meetings with colleagues based at the Eastbourne District General Hospital.
