HR Advisor/ Business Partner Location: Wetherby Salary: £36,000 Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a role where you can make a real impact? As an HR Advisor/Business Partner, you’ll work closely with senior leaders and managers, providing expert guidance across a wide range of HR areas. This is a true generalist role, covering everything from employee relations and talent management to HR strategy and projects. You’ll be hands-on, proactive, and a trusted advisor to the business, helping to shape policies, drive engagement, and support a high-performing culture. What You’ll Be Doing: Building strong relationships with managers and employees, providing expert HR advice and guidance across all aspects of HR Leading on employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach Supporting strategic HR initiatives, such as employee engagement programmes, organisational change, and workforce planning Coaching and developing managers to improve leadership capability, supporting them in handling people-related challenges with confidence Working closely with the payroll and wider HR team to ensure smooth HR operations and compliance with policies and employment law Managing and analysing HR data, identifying trends, and making recommendations to improve performance and reduce risk Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes, ensuring new employees are set up for succeed Designing and delivering training sessions to upskill managers and employees on key HR policies and best practices What We’re Looking For: A proven HR professional with experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a business partnering capacity A confident and influential communicator, able to build strong relationships and challenge where necessary A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to drive continuous improvement Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices, with experience handling complex ER cases Experience coaching and developing managers to enhance their leadership skills.
