Are you passionate about fundraising for a charity that is at the heart of Birmingham?
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join the Foundation management team and lead the creation, delivery, and management of an exciting and successful fundraising and events strategy.
You will lead the development and delivery of a fundraising and events strategy to help drive income generation and financial sustainability. Your work will enable the Foundation to reach its ambitious future goals.
Taking ownership to identify new opportunities, diversifying income streams, and managing large or complex fundraising events. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including donors and corporate sponsors, to help sustain the Foundation's growth and increase public support.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver a successful fundraising and events strategy in collaboration with the senior team
* Manage and grow income generation initiatives to support the Foundation’s goals
* Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing donors, sponsors, and stakeholders
* Plan, organise, and execute fundraising events that engage and excite both existing and new supporters
* Create innovative fundraising campaigns and initiatives to diversify income streams

Required Experience:
* Fundraising Experience: Demonstrable experience in fundraising from consumers, preferably within an organisation with a strong, dedicated follower base.
* Project Management Experience: Strong project management skills, with a focus on planning, organising, and delivering events on time and within scope.
* Events Management: Experience in helping to plan, coordinate, and manage events, including overseeing event day activities to ensure everything runs smoothly.
* Teamwork: Experience working within a small, dynamic management team of 6-8 people, collaborating to meet shared goals.
* Budget Management: Proficient in managing budgets for events, ensuring fundraising activities are financially successful and within agreed limits.

£32,000 per annum (including Performance Based Bonus)
