The Loughborough College Sports Department is seeking an English Lecturer to teach resit GCSE English Language to a wide range of 16-18 year old learners.
Loughborough College Sport is a highly successful team with over 750 full-time learners, offering a wide range of provision from Level 1 up to Level 3, including BTEC Sport and Sports Science courses.
We are looking for someone who will deliver inspiring teaching and learning and monitor progress in lessons, ensuring all learners are on track to achieve their target grades through appropriate assessments and high-quality feedback.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and demonstrate the ability to motivate and engage learners through varied teaching strategies. Previous experience of teaching English GCSE is essential, along with a relevant degree or equivalent. Applicants must possess a teaching qualification or be working towards one and have strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
