Role overview
The Research Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our corporate finance and debt advisory service lines by producing and delivering high-quality research and analysis. This role involves supporting transaction teams with various research tasks, from quick requests to detailed, value-added projects, and contributing to the success of FRP by providing strategic insights and data.
Key Responsibilities
* Producing and delivering high quality research and analysis across the corporate finance and debt advisory service lines
* Supporting the transaction teams with research varying from quick requests to detailed, value-added projects
* Producing well-researched acquisition target or buyer lists/reports
* Undertaking valuation exercises, specifically comparable transactions and listed company analysis
* Assisting in the production of prospective client pitch documents
* Utilising and contributing to the in-house CRM and project management tool to provide supporting information
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree with strong preference to Business & Finance or Information Management related courses
* Relevant work experience, which could include in Corporate Finance, Private Equity or Law
* Experience of researching companies, markets and sectors
* Good working knowledge of research tools and databases such as S&P Capital IQ, Mergermarket, Valu8 is desirable
* Experience of working on multiple research projects simultaneously with a range of timescales, often across varying sectors
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a wider client project team
* Strategic thinker who goes beyond what information is available through subscribed sources to find the information they need
* Excellent English (written and spoken). Fluency in another major European language is desirable but not essential
* Confidence in presenting your work both verbally and in written form
* Microsoft Office (in particular PowerPoint and Excel)
