One of our well-established Financial Services clients is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager with a sales background in Motor Finance to lead a high-performing, rapidly growing team.
Key Responsibilities – Area Sales Manager
1. Manage a region and be responsible for introducer relationships within the region, ensuring the quantity and quality of business produced by those partners, always ensuring accuracy and adherence to company processes and procedures.
2. Develop existing clients within the specific geographic region, which involves re-energising existing clients or general relationship management.
3. Identify and recruit new customers.
4. Develop clients into profitable producers of business.
5. Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and pricing criteria.
6. Provide feedback on market intelligence regarding competitors, as well as positive comments and improvement areas for the company.
7. Understand and deliver the brand values of the business, acting as an ambassador for the company.
8. Provide training and support to clients where required.
9. Maintain a strong awareness of the motor industry sector and regulations.
10. Possess extensive field sales experience in the financial services sector.
11. Experience in managing a large geographic area.
12. Have an excellent understanding of the sector and be able to hit the ground running.
13. Identify the right sales approach for each business partner.
14. Exhibit outstanding time management and organisational skills.
15. Understand and comply with documented processes and procedures.
16. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary: up to £47k to £50k; will be hybrid and meeting clients regularly.
