Key Responsibilities:
* Generating models in CAD
* Carrying out elements of product design
* Contributing to the development of engineering excellence within the business
* Providing mechanical engineering expertise in support of future business opportunities
Job Requirements:
* A degree or higher in mechanical engineering
* Broad knowledge of all aspects of engineering, such as systems, electrical, electro-mechanical, and rotating machinery
* Experience in manufacturing methods applicable to electrical enclosures, such as metal fabrications, castings, welding, machining, and corrosion protection
* Proficiency in Solidworks
* Good knowledge of materials
* Good knowledge of best practices in design lifecycle processes, such as gated design phases and design reviews
* Experience in designing to strict requirements such as shock, EMC, and thermal
* Strong communication skills
