We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.
Leasowes High School and Sixth Form is a “good school” (Ofsted Nov 2019) and forms part of the Invictus Education Trust which comprises of 6 schools. Leasowes High School is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with a Sixth Form situated in Halesowen, West Midlands. It provides 1,190 places for students aged 11-18 when fully subscribed.
Leasowes High School gained academy status in December 2016 and is part of the multi-academy Invictus Education Trust, along with five other schools in Dudley and South Staffordshire. Leasowes High School is an ambitious school with a culture of high expectations and a focus on success. Its ethos is based on traditional core values such as fairness, discipline and respect. Thanks to small class sizes, students are well-supported to ensure they can fulfil their potential and are prepared for life in an ever-changing world.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure smooth running of the school premises
* Open the building in the morning and potentially lock it at the end of the day
* Carry out day-to-day DIY/maintenance and minor repairs (i.e. furniture fixtures)
* Ensure heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly
* Check that all doors and windows are locked when the building is not in use
* Check the premises to guard against vandalism
* Arrange chairs and tables for meetings or assemblies and clear away afterwards
* Perform daily cleaning duties around the School premises
* Follow cleaning best practice and health and safety regulations
Qualifications and Experience:

* Knowledge and previous experience in practical DIY skills for minor repair
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude
* Good team player
* Flexible with shift work
* Good at developing strong working relationships with on-site clients and employees
* Committed to providing excellent customer service
* Familiar with COSHH standards
