Libertatem Healthcare have an opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join their team in Bristol, Somerset, providing either waking night care or day care for a young, bubbly boy with cerebral palsy. The role involves engaging with personalised routines, assisting with care programmes and household cleaning, providing emotional support and companionship, and collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also need to be flexible to work the specified hours and must be able to drive and have access to their own vehicle if not local to the area.
Job Responsibilities
* Engaging with personalised routines.
* Assisting with care programmes.

* Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
* Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Working Hours:
You will be a part of a team delivering care working either waking nights (three or four shifts per week, 8:30pm - 7:30am) or days (four hours per day 4:00pm - 8:00pm two weekdays and one weekend day per week).

Training & Background Checks:
