About the Role
As a vital member of our hotel procurement team, the Contracting Executive plays a crucial role in onboarding, activating, and managing hotel partners for our business. This role will be integral to achieving the deliverables outlined in our hotel connectivity roadmap backed by our investor board.
Principal Accountabilities
* Collaborate with hotel partners to perform test bookings and ensure smooth transactions.
* Conduct thorough purchasing checks to ensure accurate rates and special offers are uploaded and received.
* Address any pricing discrepancies promptly by liaising with hotels
* Proficiently navigating our array of back-office systems such as Admin Studio and CMS, the Contracting Executive acts as the conductor orchestrating supplier relationships with finesse
* Serve as a point of contact with hotels, nurturing relationships and ensuring seamless delivery of their offerings.
* Support our Hotel Contract Managers in regular contact with our hotel partners to ensure they are contracted and onboarded at pace.
* Harnessing the power of analytical tools like PowerBI, the Contracting Executive delves deep into data, extracting insight to empower Contracting Managers in their decision-making endeavours. For instance, they might scrutinize historical booking patterns to anticipate future demand trends, aiding in strategic procurement planning.
* Regularly compare rates to maintain competitiveness within the market.
* Monitor sales data to analyse booking trends and identify opportunities.
* Act as a liaison between internal support teams, providing assistance and resolving queries regarding the product.
* Assist purchasing managers in devising partnership plans to effectively promote the hotels to Travel Counsellors and customers.
* Gather and update product information for display on Phenix, including sustainability features.
Maintain up-to-date content on hotel products across all internal SharePoint hubs.
