Our client, a rapidly growing e-commerce group, is seeking a talented and innovative UI/UX Designer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across two distinct brands: one in the sustainable bookselling industry and the other in high-quality halal food retail. The Role:
As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a key role in enhancing the digital experience across multiple platforms, ensuring intuitive and visually compelling interfaces for customers worldwide.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting user research to gain insights into user needs and behaviours.
2. Performing market and competitor analysis to benchmark best-in-class UI/UX experiences.
3. Collaborating with marketing and product teams to align user experiences with business objectives.
4. Designing user-friendly interfaces using tools such as Figma.
5. Developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web, app, and mobile platforms.
6. Working closely with product teams and developers to bring designs to life.
7. Participating in Agile processes to ensure timely and feasible implementation of designs.
8. Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes.
Skills & Experience Required:
The ideal candidate will possess:
1. Proven experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing past work.
2. Proficiency in user research methodologies and usability testing techniques.
3. Experience in designing for web, app, and mobile with a clear understanding of platform-specific considerations.
4. Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva.
5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts effectively to stakeholders.
6. Experience working in Agile development teams and collaborating as part of an Agile squad.
7. A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
8. Knowledge of design accessibility principles (WAI) and their practical application.
