Base location: Poole Main duties of the job What You'll Be Doing: Efficiently manage the electronic appointment diary and coordinate all scheduling for consultations. Provide comprehensive secretarial support, including word processing, filing, audio-typing, photocopying, and composing sensitive letters. Handle complex and varied queries from patients, clinicians, and external parties, offering excellent customer service. Be a key point of contact for patients, answering inquiries in person, via email, and over the phone. Communicate difficult, sensitive, and confidential information with professionalism and tact, especially when speaking with anxious or distressed patients and their families. Work closely with Consultants and medical staff, ensuring they have the information and responses they need for patient care and ongoing treatment.
