Highways Supervisor x 2. Involving new work schemes, highway term maintenance, and repairs.
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 plus van and full package.
Working Hours: 45 hours basic week
Location: Waltham Forest.
* Minimum 5 years Highways, schemes, and reinstatement supervisory experience.
* Water attenuation, high spec granite paving.
* Detailed knowledge of highway maintenance industry practice.
* Good knowledge of relevant reporting procedures.
* Exposure to high-paced environment.
Highways Supervisor Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with Contractor Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements and company procedures.
* Ensure Quality and Performance Standards.
* Effective planning and programming of the works.
* Ensure commercial success of projects supervised.
* Provide effective Team Leadership and Management.
* General Management Approach.
Skills and Knowledge:
* Proven supervisory record with references.
* Independent, challenging mind with the ability to make decisions in a pragmatic and professional manner.
* Motivator and team builder.
* Good interpersonal relationship skills with a confident, resilient approach.
* Excellent construction and site management skills with close attention to detail.

Qualifications:
* Construction Management, NVQ6 or similar.
* SSSTS and CSCS essential.
* SWQR and First Aid desirable.
* Driving licence.
* GCSE Maths and English.
Package:
* Pay range: £55,000 - £60,000 plus van and full package.
* Must provide own vehicle if self-employed.
* Working hours: 45 per week with some overtime available.
