We have an opportunity for someone with sales, relationship building, and communication skills to join our advanced wound management (AWM) team as Territory Manager covering areas such as Glasgow, Lanarkshire, and Ayrshire in the West of Scotland. This is a role covering parental leave for a period of 12 months. This role enables you to focus on building relationships and the profitability of your own portfolio of customers. As a Territory Manager within our AWM business area, you will be responsible for maximising the sales and profit of our products through regular contact with existing and target customers.
What will you be doing?
Firstly, building real and meaningful relationships with our customers. Beyond that, it's about developing a strategy in partnership with our leadership that provides the best possible service, keeping our customers and patients at the centre of what we do. This role will also get involved in clinical projects in partnership with our customers.
What does success look like?
Success in the role will be determined by revenue and an improved service provision and efficiency in our business interactions with our customers. It's the ability to take strategic responsibility for your area, working with your customers to deliver for our patients. In turn, we expect such strategic relationships to maximise sales revenue across the geography, which will likely impact on existing and new accounts to proactively drive growth.
Successful candidates would need the following:
* 1 or more years experience in medical device sales - ideally wound care.
* Alternatively, you could come from a clinical (tissue viability, nursing, midwifery, or podiatry) background and have knowledge of wound care.
* Strong focused account management of segmented 'Grow' & 'Maintain' accounts.
* Continuously stay up-to-date with all NHS developments. Assess their territory and the relevant franchise market to identify emerging trends and movements within the market.
* Valid UK Driving License and a willingness to travel across the territory.
Travel requirements: ~ 75% Domestic
