About the Role:
We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our growing team in Scotland. Based ideally in Stirling, we also welcome applications from candidates in Glasgow or Edinburgh. This is a field:based role, requiring flexibility, frequent travel, and occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field measurements of water quantity, depth, quality, and rainfall.
- Install, operate, and maintain telemetry logging equipment.
- Travel to various sites across the UK and work in outdoor conditions.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
- Passion for working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong swimming skills and confidence working in water.
- Comfortable working at heights, including the use of ladders, and in confined spaces.
- Proficient in computer applications (MS Office, particularly Word and Excel).
- Awareness of health and safety protocols and potential risks.
- GCSEs or equivalent in Geography, Maths, and English, or an environmental:related discipline.
- Full UK driver's licence (held for 12+ months) with a clean driving history.
- Comfortable with extended travel, including long:distance driving and overnight stays.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and approaches.
Training desirable but not essential:
- Working at height.
- Confined space entry.
- First aid at work.
- Water safety and hygiene.
- Hydrometric techniques.
- SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme).
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
