Job Description:
We are recruiting for an experienced General Manager to join one of the world's leading brands in the child development sector at their location within the Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd's Bush. You will work directly alongside the franchise owner to oversee the day-to-day running of the business.
The General Manager would benefit from having experience in a similar leadership role overseeing the end-to-end operations of a premium gymnastics/activity venue and have ambitions to develop their own career and have a significant impact on the business. You will work closely with the company owner and leadership team to support the overall running of the venue, focusing on growth and retention of customers, P&L and finances, operations, sales, customer experience, planning, and marketing/social media. You will also collaborate with central and external stakeholder departments and organisations, including their UK and Europe Head Office team.
The role involves dedicating 8-10 hours of your weekly schedule to delivering various classes focused on improving understanding and safety with new parents, so knowledge and experience in teaching/coaching is ideal, and any experience in gymnastics would be advantageous.
The company offers:
* Strong basic salary with the ability to increase pay with progression and bonus
* Excellent progression and further earning potential for achieving milestone targets
* The opportunity to work with people that share your passions and energy
* The chance to work with an amazing group of children and families
You will need to:
* Have experience managing the operations of a single-venue site
* Ideally have experience in gymnastics, or a similar sport such as dance, acrobatics or parkour, and have experience in a management role
* Share a passion for supporting both children and staff and their development
* Bring a can-do attitude to everything you do
* Have strong communication skills with a range of internal and external stakeholders
* Be available to work Monday to Friday with occasional support for weekend operations as required
