Business Development Manager - Industrial/Commercial Doors

£40-50,000 + 30% uncapped Bonus + Car or Allowance
Our client is an established business in the industrial/commercial door sector
They are a service-led business with customer service front and centre in its value proposition; it offers a national maintenance service package with over 50 engineers delivering excellent customer service.
A UK-based manufacturer of roller shutter doors, giving them a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a growth-focused Business Development Manager with a proven track record of sales success.
The Role
* This is predominantly a new business role, though you will be required to manage and develop a small portfolio of accounts.
* A proactive field salesperson who has the tenacity to open doors and develop opportunities
* Ability to self-generate their opportunities and follow these through the whole sales process
* Can work with marketing to generate suitable sales campaigns and follow these through
* A solution-based salesperson with a proven track record of understanding customer's needs and making recommendations that solve customers’ problems
* Though this is not a technical role, the successful candidate needs to be able to understand a technical product and be competent in discussing our product solutions with any customer.
* This role involves building a solid rapport with customers, gaining confidence, and selling various industrial door/service solutions.
* You must believe in delivering customer service excellence and have the customer at the heart of everything you do.
* Must be used to working a CRM system and understand the value of accurate data.
