Stags are looking to recruit an experienced rural surveyor (up to Associate Partner level) to join our Professional Services team in Tiverton.
The role will involve acting for a mix of clients across Mid, West and North Devon on a broad spectrum of matters including rural grant and stewardship applications, wayleaves and easements, formal “Red Book” valuations, estate management, landlord and tenant, compulsory purchase and compensation, and farm lettings.
The role is suited to an ambitious individual looking to progress their career and assist the Professional Partner in the continued expansion of the department. The successful candidate will be required to build on existing clients and business contacts and work with other members of the immediate team, wider department and firm as a whole.
Requirements
1. Member of the RICS with at least 3 years post qualification experience
2. RICS Registered Valuer and Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers would be beneficial but are not essential
3. Driven to meet personal and business targets
4. Able to work on your own initiative and as a team
5. Good working knowledge of IT including use of Excel, Word & Outlook
6. Organised with a high level of attention to detail
7. Effective time management and the ability to prioritise tasks and ensure deadlines are met
8. You will be confident in your abilities and interested in driving and expanding the business
9. Rural background with good knowledge of current issues
10. Full UK driving licence
