About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity within our sales team for a Sales Coordinator. The Sales Coordinator will contribute to the growth and profitability of the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa by providing a quality service to clients with efficient handling of both re-active residential and non-residential conference & events enquiries.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Maintaining current knowledge across the resort and surrounding area to provide best advice for all enquiries.
2. Providing clients with accurate rate information.
3. Processing all re-active enquiries & RFPs accurately, including reservations by telephone, email & third-party platforms within set parameters.
4. Compiling and sending out of proposals in Delphi.
5. Adhering to an effective chase system.Including, supporting the pro-active sales team to move the status of bookings.
6. Sending out contracts and pro-forma invoices in a timely manner.
7. Accurate input of all reservations incl bedrooms, meeting space, restaurants, golf & spa into the Delphi and Resort Suite.
8. Providing internal departments with accurate information for the support of Corporate & Incentive client activity itineraries.
9. Conduct site inspections, booking appointments to support the pro-active sales team, within set parameters.
10. Housekeeping and updating of Delphi and client databases.
11. Actively, participate in pro-active sales, call days with the pro-active sales team.
12. Liaise with the Events Manager and Events Team for a seamless customer transition to contracting and final detail appointments.
13. Build strong relationships with marketing team to create bespoke client proposals.
About you
You will be a confident, enthusiastic and driven individual with sales experience. Ideally you will have experience of working within a hospitality setting. You will be a strong communicator and have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
Salary
This is an exciting permanent opportunity, working 40 hours per week. A competitive salary of £28, is offered, depending on experience, along with a vast range of associate benefits.
