Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging, creative lessons to Year 6 students, ensuring they meet their academic targets while maintaining a passion for learning. Support students in their preparation for SATs, ensuring that they are well-prepared for both the academic and emotional aspects of their transition to secondary school. Foster a classroom environment that encourages student independence, resilience, and curiosity. Use a range of assessment tools to track student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure consistency and excellence in teaching and learning. Maintain strong communication with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child’s progress and development. Qualifications and Experience Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Year 6 or Key Stage 2 students. Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and SATs preparation.
