We are looking to recruit to Northwich, Winsford, Frodsham and rural areas.
In Cheshire West and Chester adult social care, our mission is to inspire hope and provide unparalleled support for the people and communities of Cheshire, helping them to enjoy life to the fullest.
The service is based at the portal in Ellesmere Port; however, we deliver care and support throughout the borough in people’s homes.
What you’ll be doing
Being a Reablement Worker means supporting people in their own homes for a short space of time to assist them in reaching their full potential. This may include managing a variety of aspects of daily living skills, setting clear and achievable goals to help people rebuild their former independence and confidence to sustain independent living at home and in their communities.
Please demonstrate in your application how you meet the requirements for this community-based role.
Are you passionate about supporting people in your local community and working to achieve goals with our service users to live independently in their own home?
We are looking to recruit individuals who truly care and are committed to making a difference in an individual’s life. We cover a 7-day-a-week service; therefore, any successful candidate would be expected to work alternate weekends and bank holidays.
Enhanced rates are paid for Bank Holidays, Evening, and Weekend working.
Various permanent positions are available; our shift pattern is in 6-hour blocks.
Vacancies are for 18 hours, 3 shifts per week.
Shift patterns are:
* 7am – 1pm
* 8am – 2pm
* 4pm – 10pm
As a provider service for adult social care, we have a number of Reablement Worker opportunities within the borough, working for the local government who truly values their staff to improve the lives of our service users.
Travel is needed as part of this role; please demonstrate on your application form how you would meet this requirement.
