Job role: Technical Compliance Consultant
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 DOE
Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Monday-Friday / Hybrid work available

The Company:
Interaction Technical have partnered with the leading Lifting Equipment Consultancy & Training Provider in the search for an experienced rack & pinion engineer / inspector. The successful candidate has the opportunity to develop into a lead technical consultant within the Lifting Equipment Industry offering expert advice, developing training & supporting engineering clients within the industry.
The Package:
* Salary between £40,000-£50,000
* Car Allowance - £350 per month (£4200 per year)
* 33 days holiday including bank holidays

The Role:
* Develop and review technical documents to support regulations and training surrounding powered and manual lifting equipment.
* Provide expertise surrounding mechanical engineering within the hoist industry to clients, engineers & the compliance team.
* Support the developments and changes to relevant legislation & standards within the hoist industry and discuss these regulations with current clients.
* Manage the development process of engineers for clients within the lifting equipment industry.
* Be the main point of contact to give insight surrounding core mechanical & electrical components of powered & manual hoisting equipment.
The Requirements:
* Experience as a mechanical/electrical engineer is advantageous.
* Proven mechanical knowledge and willingness to share this knowledge with engineers and team members.
* Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) qualifications are advantageous.
* An understanding of health & safety regulations alongside legislations within the lifting industry.
* Ability to communicate and liaise with both clients and various teams (compliance, engineers, upper management).
* Previous experience in documentation development (regulations, legislations, health & safety, or training).
* Full UK Driver's Licence.
