Job Title: Children Residential Support Worker
Reports To: Team Leader
Location: Chorley (PR25)
Salary: £12.00 PH - (£23,400PA)
Monthly Attendance Bonus: £150PM After 6 Months Probation - (£1,800PA)
Shifts: 12.5 Hours (Days & Nights)
Monday to Sunday
3 Shifts Per Week
Minimum 3 On Calls Per Month – (£20.00 Standby)

We are currently seeking a Children Residential Support Worker for our Children Home in Chorley with great career development opportunities.
For experienced Children Residential Support Workers who are qualified to Level 3 in Children, there may be an opportunity to enrol onto our Leadership Programme where you have a fantastic opportunity to become a Senior Children Residential Support Worker or a Team Leader.
Do you have no experience but are looking to build a career in Children Residential Care? Full training can be given to those applying without experience. However, experience within the social care will be beneficial. The role will require you to complete Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce as a mandatory requirement.

Opportunity to be enrolled onto a City & Guilds Level 5 Diploma In Management And Leadership In Health And Social Care for Children after completion of Level 3 Young People Workforce.

You will be key in helping the young people. This is a challenging role, where no two days are the same, but the rewards are incomparable to any other job. Entry Requirements:
* An NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent or working towards completion or willingness to complete.
* Experience working with children/young people in a Residential Childcare setting, for at least 6 months, but not necessary.
* A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others.
* Life skills.
* Be caring, compassionate, understanding, and show patience.
* Be a team player, flexible, honest, and reliable.
* Have a good sense of humour and not take things personally.
* Be confident and resilient.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Knowledge of the Children's Home Regulations and Ofsted Requirements.
* Computer literacy.
* A driving licence.
