PCSM Assessment Officer
Location: Carlisle
Salary: £30,505 per annum, with incremental progression to £36,924

The Role
The University and Imperial College have formed a strategic partnership to open a new medical school, the Pears Cumbria School of Medicine (PCSM). The first students will start a bespoke 4-year postgraduate MBBS programme in 2025/26. This role involves administering the planning and delivery of all assessments for the MBBS programme, collaborating closely with colleagues within PCSM and both institutions' assessment teams to ensure an excellent assessment experience for students.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Educated to RQF Level 3 (A Level, Scottish Higher or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
2. Experience in a relevant role dealing with administrative and information management systems and understanding of relevant terminology.
3. Ability to develop and apply a detailed understanding of assessment, supported by evidence of prior work/education experience as a subject matter expert.
4. Strong data management skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and presentation.
5. Capability to act as a main point of contact/referral for specific procedures, systems, and processes.
