Greencrop, part of the Ben Burgess Group, has grown from a local manufacturer and importer in the East of England to a UK-wide supplier of clean water irrigation, dirty water, and slurry systems. Our dealer network covers a broad range of solutions, including digestate separators, pumps, and mixing systems for AD plants.
Our Operations Assistant role is a key administrative support position within Greencrop, assisting our Sales and Service team in day-to-day operations. Based at our Beeston office, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth business operations by coordinating with customers, suppliers, technicians, and our European partners.

Key Responsibilities:
* Handle incoming calls and inquiries, providing assistance or directing them appropriately.
* Liaise with customers, suppliers, dealers, and colleagues to support sales and service operations.
* Process warranty claims from our dealer network and submit claims to suppliers.
* Process sales orders and machine configurations as required.
* Coordinate with the Sales Manager to ensure all paperwork is completed on time.
* Support the invoicing process to ensure accurate and timely billing.
* Organise haulage for machine deliveries from international suppliers and UK dealers.
* Receive machines into stock, ensuring they are assembled and registered for warranty.
* Handle marketing via the Greencrop social media pages and keep the website updated.
* Assist with stock checks and machine hire as requested.
* Support the organisation of exhibitions in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
This role is perfect for someone is proactive and keen to get stuck in and develop knowledge in all areas of the business operation.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous administration experience (experience in Agriculture, Plant, or Automotive industries is an advantage).
* A keen interest in agricultural machinery or mechanical equipment would be beneficial.
* Strong communication skills via email, phone, and face-to-face.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and accurately.
* Ability to multi-task and manage a busy workload effectively.
* A proactive and adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn.
