Part Time – 18 Hours per week – South Parade, Peterborough
Monday 9.00am – 1.00pm, Tuesday - Friday 9.30am – 12.30pm
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cleaner to join our team at our South Parade Hostel. You will be responsible for cleaning internal communal areas within the hostel, deep cleaning rooms when they become vacant, and keeping external areas of the grounds tidy, ensuring a comfortable environment for vulnerable service users.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Keep It Clean: Maintain all areas of our building to top-notch standards while following Health & Safety guidelines.
* Stick to the Schedule: Operate a cleaning maintenance program that's daily, weekly, monthly, and annually.
* Report Issues: Let the Supervisor or Manager know about any damage to fittings, building fabric, or equipment.
* Stock Check: Keep the Supervisor or Manager updated on cleaning materials stock.
* Stay Safe: Follow all health and safety requirements.
* Stay Informed: Keep up with and adhere to all Cross Keys Homes policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For:
* Someone with good knowledge and experience of cleaning.
* Ability to recognise and adhere to safety instructions and warnings on products and equipment.
* Good written and verbal English communication skills.
* Willing to maintain a DBS check.
