Where We Need You: The London office is seeking an Internal Audit & Financial Advisory, IT Audit Manager to join our growing team. What You Can Expect: Managers partner with our clients to solve complex business problems and provide best in class advice and solutions. Managers strive to develop lasting relationships with client personnel and seek to further these relationships through quality product delivery. The goal of the Manager is to understand their client’s business and demonstrate technical competence in their solution and industry. Managers are developing contacts within the business community and serve as ambassadors of Protiviti in the market. What Will Help You Be Successful: Experience of scoping, planning and delivering IT Audit engagements including: Development of appropriate Audit Risk and Control matrices and audit test plans Initial review of audit working papers to ensure a high standard of quality Drafting of audit reporting and confirming findings with auditees Tracking of progress and effort against budget, appropriately escalating any issues Weekly progress reporting internally and to the client. You seek opportunities to interact with and mentor personnel, including participating in the creation and rollout of training and developing skill sets. You have a strong understanding of IT internal controls e.g. SOX, NIST security, ITIL, ISO 22301 BCM). The ability to contribute to the growth of the team by involvement in business development activities e.g. Contributing to Thought Leadership You effectively build and manage client relationships while delivering specific product solutions that add value. You excel at identifying opportunities to integrate product solutions and resources to optimise client service capabilities. You are passionate about assisting in the preparation and execution of strategy to win new business. You make conscious use of real-time supervision during all phases of an engagement to develop junior staff members. You have an inherent interest in project management and team leadership. You seek new ways to create extraordinary development opportunities and ways for your team to make an impact on our clients and communities. Do Your Talents Include the Following? Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of findings and recommendations. A solid foundation in internal controls concepts (COSO, COBIT, ITIL). Knowledge of The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA’s) code of ethics and compliance requirements. Knowledge of audit methodologies and developing key internal audit deliverables, including process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries. A diverse skill base in both IT auditing, information systems and technology platforms (ideally including Cloud platforms and Agile/DevOps development). Experience providing assurance over security (e.g. against NIST controls) and over business/ IT recovery controls (e.g. against ISO 22301). Knowledge of emerging technology risk. IT Effectiveness Reviews, assessing IT strategy, IT governance, operating effectiveness and measurement of performance. Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance desirable but not essential. Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple engagements and work streams with various clients. Organisation and time management expertise. Strong presentation skills Experience working with financial services/banking institutions. Supervisory experience of teams including Consultants and Senior Consultants. Advanced project management and status reporting capabilities. Ability to network and build relationships. Your Educational and Professional Qualifications: Relevant experience of working in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, or related field, either in professional services or industry. Experience of auditing in a regulated environment essential. Prior consulting experience in Internal Audit strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access. Professional Certification such as CISA/CISM/CIA/CRISC, or similar strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Do You Love Exploring New Places?
