Protyre is looking for a Vehicle Health Check Inspector with an Automotive Technician background, to join our team. In this preventative maintenance role, you will conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with company and industry standards. You will provide detailed reports of vehicle conditions, recommend necessary repairs or maintenance, and support the overall mission of maintaining customer trust and satisfaction.

About the role:
1. Visually inspect vehicles to assess their overall condition and safety, helping the customer understand if their vehicle is road legal and needs any maintenance.
2. Conduct detailed vehicle health checks, including inspections of mechanical, electrical, and safety systems.
3. Identify wear, damage, or defects in vehicle components and systems, such as brakes, tires, suspension, and engine.
4. Prepare clear and accurate inspection reports, documenting findings and recommendations.
5. Communicate inspection results to customers, service advisors, and technicians, explaining potential issues and solutions.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all inspections.
7. Work closely with the service department to prioritize and address urgent repair needs.
8. Maintain inspection tools and equipment in proper working order.
About you:
1. Full UK Driving Licence.
2. Good GCSE pass results and/or a college diploma.
3. Proven experience in automotive inspection, repair, or diagnostics.
4. Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and safety standards.
5. Understanding of diagnostic tools, software, and inspection equipment.
6. Attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication skills to effectively explain findings to customers and team members.
8. Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, as required by the job.
