The University of Salford has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Partnerships Officer The role requires an excellent communicator who can connect with colleagues across professional services, schools and partner organisations.

You will also be required to have a high level of analytical skills and be able to research markets and partner opportunities.
You will have experience of managing an effective team and have previous experience of working with partnerships and be able to show how you have experience of effectively managing communication channels and maintaining relationships.
You will also have excellent attention to detail and be able to collate, analyse and evaluate data from multiple sources, and use the outcomes to problem-solve.
So what will the role involve? People management will be a key focus as you support the Partnerships Team to develop and deliver well managed partnerships (TNE, Progression, articulation and study abroad) and the internationalization at home offer (COIL collaborations).
Developing new ways of working including effective account management and coordination of activities across the University that maintain successful partnership arrangements To plan, lead and manage a calendar of important dates and tasks which need to be completed by the Partnerships Team to ensure timely completion Actively source new opportunities for future international initiatives including influencing potential future partners and representing the University at external events Project manage across the entire partnership development, including specific research activities, environmental scanning, focus groups, surveys, due diligence Developing new business for the University including scoping of proposals from potential partners and working with school colleagues to assess viability.

It is important that you have excellent communication skills and are able to build and maintain relationships with your team and internal and external stakeholders.
The Partnerships team work across multiple external stakeholders (overseas universities, government departments, higher education organisations) and internal stakeholders including our International Recruitment Team, Finance, Legal, Quality and Enhancement, and the Research Office.
