The Role
At M&G, our primary role is customer care. This means we look after our investors right the way through their journey with us. From the time they make their first investment with us to withdrawing some or all of their money, we must be there for them, offering support, education, and insight, giving them confidence in us as their trusted investment provider.
As part of the UK Marketing Team, you will support us in the development and upkeep of the M&G Investments customer websites (non-advised), customer journeys, our customer literature suite, and to provide assistance and communications to support project or business changes impacting end customers.
This role would suit a candidate with marketing experience and a keen interest in financial markets/asset management. This is a great opportunity to further a career in marketing, with a focus on both on and offline marketing content within a customer-centric organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Create engaging and insightful web content, ensuring that all webpages and activities comply with the local regulatory requirements and that compliance processes are strictly adhered to on a day-to-day basis. A sustainable focus is to be applied wherever possible given our corporate sustainability goals.
2. Assist the wider team on campaign delivery.
3. Plan and create monthly newsletters and solus emails, report email stats to team.
4. Plan and create service emails as appropriate. Create and distribute support packs for the call centres.
5. Help to maintain marketing literature and ensure it's kept up-to-date, on brand and on message. You will be responsible for its delivery from start to finish.
6. Work with stakeholders to capture any updates and action updates when required.
7. Review and manage literature stocks and fulfilment packs.
8. Provide support including literature and webpage updates for projects such as fund launches/changes, half-yearly statements and Value Assessment.
9. Support the team in consumer duty reporting and actions including comms testing.
Experience, Skills & Behaviours
1. Enthusiastic, confident and extremely organised.
2. Evidence of having created and directed the creation of communications assets.
3. Project management and organisational skills, i.e. able to plan, monitor and prioritise.
4. The ability to act effectively under the pressure of last-minute deadlines and changing priorities.
5. Evidence of their strong ability to adapt in changing circumstances and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Evidence of their strong collaboration skills and experience.
7. Marketing experience - regulatory knowledge and experience of the compliance approval requirements are essential.
8. An understanding of digital marketing channels and digital trends.
9. Previous experience working with audience insight tools e.g. Google Analytics etc.
10. Experience of budget management, ensuring each initiative is on budget, observing and implementing cost efficiencies where possible.
11. Must have relevant experience in a financial services or similar environment.
12. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
13. The ability to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels, both in written and verbal form.
14. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills; able to listen to and engage effectively with others.
15. Excellent English language skills, including comprehension, creative/copywriting, proof-reading.
