An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Assistant for our multi-site practice at Highparks Medical Practice.
The practice is looking for a candidate, full of enthusiasm and ready for a challenge, to join their team consisting of Doctors, Practice Nurses, and healthcare professionals with a patient list of over 15,000 patients.
This practice operates across 4 sites all within a few miles of each other and has 5 partners.
The vacancy is flexible with an option for either full-time or part-time.
Experience working as a HCA in general practice would be a distinct advantage. However, we would be willing to provide training to applicants who have already obtained or are in the process of obtaining qualifications and professional competencies required for the role. The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and computer skills along with the ability to multi-task and to work both independently and within a team.
As part of your duties, you will offer a range of diagnostic and therapeutic services including phlebotomy, ECGs, 24-hour BP monitors, dressings, injections, diabetic health checks, and NHS health checks.
