We are looking for a Lead Agile Delivery Manager to drive delivery of DWP's Data Strategy products and services which enable millions of people to access the help, advice and financial support they need.
The role is within our data and analytics area (D&A) and focuses on supporting DWP's route to cloud by transforming our data products and services and implementing a new data strategy by creating an agile delivery model around our ingested data feeds.
The team is responsible for the transformation of existing data products into agile-driven provider/consumer data feeds, operated according to agile product principles.
You will work with the Integrated Risk and Intelligence Service (IRIS), which is central to the DWP's fraud and error strategy. It is radically transforming how the welfare system is protected.

Job description
As a Lead Agile Delivery Manager, you will:
1. Deliver strong agile leadership of complex scaled programmes with multiple stakeholders.
2. Be accountable for designing and orchestrating delivery, optimising workflows and implementing new processes and techniques needed to deliver successful outcomes at scale.
3. Be an experienced agile practitioner with in-depth knowledge and experience of agile and lean tools and techniques, with an ability to lead, role model and coach delivery specialists.
4. Lead delivery of complex areas of work involving multiple teams and senior stakeholders, building momentum and managing multiple competing demands.
5. Be able to build consensus across different services and products and to mediate between teams to achieve successful outcomes.
6. Communicate with clarity, to build influence and trust at all levels of the organisation, manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate discussions about high risk and complexity.
7. Optimise delivery flow of teams, implement team structure changes, and orchestrate efforts across teams to maintain and improve delivery momentum.
8. Lead teams in doing the hands-on delivery of products and end to end services.

This job role may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in their DWP office and part of the week from home. This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and your office will be your contractual place of work.
Salary Information
Pay for this role in London is from £78,843 to £89,995.
Pay for this role in National Locations is from £72,664 to £89,995.
