TPS Parts Sales Executive
Who are TPS?
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products necessary for servicing and repairing Volkswagen Group vehicles. As part of the Volkswagen Group, TPS encompasses brands such as Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. With a national network of TPS Centres and a workforce of 1,500, we pride ourselves on creating a motivating and inclusive workplace that recognizes and rewards our people while encouraging their journey of Learning and Development.
Launched nationally in 2006, TPS operates on an Agency Model, meaning Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. Our rapid growth continues both financially and in the number of Centres opened nationwide.
What will you be doing?
As a Parts Sales Executive, you will collaborate with the Sales Manager and team to deliver and achieve the business plan and sales objectives of the Centre. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Achieving personal KPIs and revenue objectives with target customers.
2. Accurately identifying parts to meet customer sales requirements.
3. Utilizing product promotions effectively to achieve specific targets.
4. Identifying and leveraging potential sales opportunities within the customer base.
5. Maintaining product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity.
6. Building strong working relationships with customers through regular contact, both via phone and face-to-face visits.
7. Providing high levels of service to customers by understanding their requirements, responding to requests, progressing orders, and offering expert advice.
8. Communicating timely updates to customers on their credit status.
9. Supporting the TPS Centre team to ensure excellent customer service.
10. Collaborating with the Sales Manager and others to achieve sales targets.
11. Handling incoming calls and customer inquiries within KPIs using the approved greeting.
12. Ensuring the accurate use of all systems to search and order parts.
13. Completing all required documentation accurately and promptly.
14. Managing cash and credit card transactions in line with TPS Guidelines in the Operations Manual.
Essential Skills
What are we looking for?
1. A self-starter with a proven track record in building strong relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
2. A confident communicator with experience in a fast-paced and/or telesales environment.
3. A passion for providing an excellent customer service experience.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
5. A team player with the drive and determination to achieve individual and sales targets weekly and monthly.
6. Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
7. IT literate, preferably with a good working knowledge of MS Excel.
8. A passion for the automotive industry.
